ICT for dissemination of Democracy
in 19th May 2007, all the participants of YLDA was invited to visit Party Garakan Headquarters in Penang by its youth wing leaders. And we had an opportunity to interview Mr. Deven an expert in IT and Marketing Manager in leading IT Company in Malaysia. In the interview he said, “ICT education is important to all Asian countries and if we can improve our skills and knowledge of youths and it will immensely help to develop our countries”. He further said said ” Malaysia has already decided to use the Modern Tecknlogy of Wi MAX from next year”

YLDA workshop on ICT (Information and Communication Technology) hosted by Parti Gerekan Youth and supported by Friedrich Naumann Foundation is now in progress at Gurney Hotel in Penang. More than 20 young leaders from morethan 10 countries have been invited to attend this important event orgernised by the Young Libarals and Democrats of Asia (YLDA) .The main objective of this event is to enhance the skills of Young Leaders of YLDA who are mainly involve in communication devisions in their respective Political Parties and Orgernisations. It is also expected to achieve strong communication network among the member Orgernisations using the latest technology in ICT.
